Race Against Abuse – 5K and Fun Run!
1 in 4. The number of women who will experience severe domestic violence in their lifetimes.
1 in 5. The number of girls who will experience sexual abuse before age 18.
1 in 10. The number of older adults who have experienced elder abuse.
Be a part of the movement to end abuse in our community in all its forms! Join us on Sunday, May 12, as we rally together to spread awareness and empower survivors of domestic violence, sexual abuse, and elder abuse!
By participating in CHANA’s Race Against Abuse you are not only helping to raise critical funds to support lifesaving victim services and prevention education programs, you are also taking a stand against abuse in our community and telling those who are suffering – you are not alone!
This is a professionally timed 5K course that starts at the Owings Mills JCC. Start time is 8:00 a.m. with onsite registration beginning at 7:00 a.m.
Entry Fees – includes event t-shirt:
5K: $40 per person through March 31st ($45 thereafter)
Fun Run: $35 through march 31st ($40 thereafter)
