Provides individual, group and hotline counseling, shelter for women and their children, legal assistance, batterer’s counseling, victim advocacy, and children’s counseling. Has victim advocate offices in several courts throughout Maryland including Baltimore City.

Family Violence Program at Sinai Hospital

Provides identification, assessment and crisis intervention (individual and group counseling) for victims of domestic violence and their children identified through the hospital. Also accept community referrals. Group meets Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8PM, with free babysitting. Clients are prioritized based on low income, because all services are free.

Provides counseling for victims, children, and batterers; victim advocacy, and shelter. Shares hotline with TurnAround and Family Crisis Center of Baltimore County.

Focused on sexual assault, domestic violence, and child sexual abuse. Individual and group counseling, child art therapy, a batterer’s program, emergency room companions, emergency shelter, supervised visitation. A lawyer comes to the office once a week.

Provides individual, couple, family and survivor support counseling, shelter, batterers program, victim advocacy.

HARBEL Prevention and Recovery Center

Provides a batterers’ program for those with substance abuse problems.

CHANA will offer a Volunteer Workshop.
You can learn all about CHANA and how to work on our helpline, advocate for victims of domestic violence, help with our Youth Curriculum, donate cellphones, write newsletter articles, deliver kosher groceries to a woman and/or her children in the safehouse, transport a client to/from an appointment and many other opportunities.
