You are not alone.
CHANA offers a Jewish community response to the needs of people who have experienced abuse or trauma. Our team is dedicated to the elimination of domestic violence, sexual abuse, elder abuse and all forms of interpersonal violence. We listen, counsel, support, guide and work to heal survivors of violence. At every point, we advocate for community awareness, safety and healing.
In 1995, CHANA was founded to serve Jewish victims of intimate partner violence with culturally-sensitive assistance.
In 2009, CHANA expanded its mission to provide victims and survivors of childhood abuse with trauma-informed, community-oriented, mental health services.
In 2013, CHANA initiated an Elder Abuse program to prevent, intervene, respond to and mitigate physical, emotional, and financial abuse, and neglect against older adults.
